1887 – 2007: Linhof 120 Years
Now Linhof has been producing for over 120 years already cameras, optics and other high tech products which are "stopping the time" and the moment in sharpness, detail and precision. There is hardly any better technique or medium to describe the change.
Photography and their tools are closely connected with the name Linhof. In the last decades radical changes in all fields of photography took place. Autofocus, automatic features, miniaturized 35 mm cameras were all achieved and then followed by digital imaging, networks and new image media.
Thousands of photographers, artists, architects, scientists, engineers and printing people worldwide are presently using new or previously owned Linhof precision cameras that were made in Munich / Bavaria.
With Linhof the traditional fine mechanical precision of Valentin Linhof is combined with the requirements for digital and opto-electronic imaging. The M 679 "open" system has successfully managed to present the future of applied photography, printing technique and the "digital tomorrow" - today !
